Ten minutes of silent independent reading--may be added to reading logs due on Monday.

Handed out Double-entry Journal forms (DEJs) and wrote what we're looking for in The Importance of Being Earnest: examples of characters who lie or examples of serious things being treated as if unimportant, or unimportant things being treated seriously.

Continued reading Act 1 of The Importance of Being Earnest, pages 16--20.
Wrote down one example of a lie; will record an example of something unimportant being treated seriously tomorrow.
